Description

The Mud Fever & Dermatitis Bundle is a complete horse mud fever and dermatitis care routine, combining two of our bestselling products to care for scabby, irritated and damaged skin on the legs.

Containing Mud Magic and our bestselling Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel, the bundle provides a simple two-step approach: use Mud Magic during scabby flare-ups, then switch to Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel to soothe, hydrate and care for the fresh skin underneath.

Ideal for horses prone to mud fever, dermatitis, cracked heels and scabby legs, particularly throughout wet and muddy conditions.

Same Mud Magic, Fresh New Look!

You may notice that our Mud Magic packaging has had a little refresh. Don’t worry – the product inside hasn’t changed. It’s still the same trusted Mud Magic formula, in the same 1L size, just with updated packaging.

Mud Fever & Dermatitis Care for Horses

Mud fever and dermatitis can leave horses with sore, irritated, flaky and scabby skin, particularly on the lower legs.

Our Mud Fever & Dermatitis Bundle combines two complementary formulas so you can care for the skin at different stages.

Step 1 – Mud Magic

Use Mud Magic when the skin is scabby, crusty or flaky.

Its rich formula combines natural oils, lanolin, beeswax, silver and carefully selected essential oils to deeply moisturise and soften problem skin while creating a protective, water-resistant barrier.

Step 2 – Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel

Once the scabs have cleared, switch to our bestselling Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel.

The lightweight gel combines soothing aloe and seaweed with silver to hydrate, calm and care for the fresh skin underneath without leaving a heavy or greasy residue.

If scabs begin to return, simply switch back to Mud Magic before returning to the gel once the area has settled.

Ideal For

  • Mud fever in horses

  • Dermatitis

  • Scabby and crusty legs

  • Cracked heels

  • Dry, flaky or irritated skin

  • Horses prone to recurring mud fever

  • Caring for fresh skin after scabs have cleared

  • Wet and muddy winter conditions

Why Use Mud Magic & Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel Together?

Different stages of a mud fever or dermatitis flare-up can benefit from different types of skin care.

Mud Magic provides the rich moisturising and barrier properties needed when you're dealing with stubborn scabs and exposure to wet, muddy conditions.

Once those scabs have cleared, Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel provides lightweight daily care to soothe, hydrate and condition the new skin underneath.

Together, they provide a simple routine for managing horses prone to recurring mud fever, dermatitis and scabby legs.

What's Included?

Each Mud Fever & Dermatitis Bundle contains:

  • 1 × 1L Mud Magic

  • 1 × 200ml Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel

Both formulas contain silver and have been designed to complement one another as part of your horse's regular skin-care routine.

How to Use

Apply Mud Magic daily to scabby or flaky areas until the scabs have cleared.

Once the area is free from scabs, switch to Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel and apply daily to keep the fresh skin soothed, hydrated and conditioned.

If another scabby flare-up occurs, return to Mud Magic and repeat the routine.

Mud Fever or Mallenders & Sallenders?

This bundle is our recommended choice for horses whose main concern is mud fever, dermatitis, cracked heels or scabby legs.

If your horse is specifically affected by mallenders or sallenders, we recommend our dedicated M&S Bundle, which contains Mud Magic: M&S Formula alongside Aloe, Seaweed & Silver Gel.

Important Information

Mud Magic contains lanolin, citronella and tea tree oil and is therefore not suitable for horses with known allergies or sensitivities to these ingredients.

Not recommended for horses with oil sensitivity.

We recommend patch testing all new topical products before first use.

For external use only.

As Mud Magic is oil based, avoid applying to areas exposed to strong sunlight unless appropriately covered.
