Horse Mud Fever Barrier & Skin Care

Mud fever can become a persistent problem, particularly during the wetter months when horses' legs are repeatedly exposed to mud and moisture.

Mud Magic has been designed to do two jobs at once: nourish and condition the skin while creating a protective barrier against wet and muddy conditions.

The rich salve coats the skin and helps repel moisture, making it particularly useful for horses that are turned out regularly throughout autumn and winter.

Mud Magic is particularly useful for horses that struggle with recurring skin problems on their lower legs.

Its thick consistency allows it to be worked into the skin and around scabby areas while leaving behind a protective barrier.

It can also be used proactively during wet weather on horses that are prone to developing mud-related skin problems, making it a useful addition to your winter horse-care routine.

How to Use

Apply Mud Magic directly to clean, dry skin and gently work into the required area daily. You will start to see the scabs lift, fresh pink skin appear and hair growth.

Reapply as required to maintain the protective barrier, particularly during prolonged wet or muddy conditions.

Important Information

Mud Magic contains lanolin and tea tree oil and is therefore not suitable for horses with known allergies or sensitivities to these ingredients.

It is also not recommended for horses with oil sensitivity.

As with all new topical products, we recommend carrying out a patch test before first use.

As this is an oil-based product, avoid applying to areas that will be exposed to strong sunlight unless the area is appropriately covered.
